We are part of nature – not separate from it
C4G is a floral celebration of beautiful lawns and gardens in and around Alfreton, North Derbyshire that has a propagational aim to change our community through the power of nature and the soil we have beneath our feet.
As a local resident, my aim is a simple one, to share information about gardens and gardening in and around the area so that others can find inspiration and get a little help to create a beautiful garden haven of their own.
I’ve had my career and now I’ve got to a point of realising how unimportant money is and how important nature is!
So, it’s a lifestyle choice I’ve made to share and celebrate all the good things that gardening can do, for mind, body, spirit and how great it is for others too and for nature, pets and wildlife!
When you take a tiny seed and plant it and then nurture it on it’s path to maturity you get access to something so absolutely fundamental in our humanity that it will change you forever – you get to experience the sacred cycle of life and understand it’s fragility.
Gardening helps change the world in so many ways – if you discover one of those ways, then that’s a wonderful thing in itself.
